The Sunshine Gardens Apartments project entails the development of a 140-unit modern apartment home community on a 3.43-acre site. The community includes 76 one-bedroom units, 58 two-bedroom units, and six three-bedroom units for a total of 140 residential units, which will be built within a three-story residential building surrounding a parking structure (“wrap” construction). More than 25 percent of the project site is dedicated to open space, amenity areas, and landscaping. Proposed amenities include a clubroom, fitness area, pool courtyard, fire pits, social nodes with barbecues, and a pet spa, as well as a 1-acre public/private amenity which includes a food forest with a series of unique gathering spaces that can be used by both residents and the public.
